Thanks for visiting my blog.
My name is Ciaran Jones and I am a 22-year-old reporter for Media Wales, based in Cardiff. I write for the Western Mail, South Wales Echo, Wales on Sunday and WalesOnline.
My hobbies include travelling, running, eating curry, and the perpetual hardship of following Manchester City. I like to do things for charity and try and fundraise for Cancer Research UK as much as possible. You can see my fundraising page for this year’s Run10k event in Cardiff by clicking here.
I have recently completed a postgraduate diploma in newspaper journalism at Cardiff University. Before that I did an undergraduate degree in English Language and Literature at the University of Sheffield, and in my final year I was also editor of the student newspaper, Forge Press.
You can find links to some selected examples of my recent work below, or click here to look through everything I’ve done at Media Wales.
